I am a big fan of Nando's. It is a great cheap restaurant that has a little something for everyone including vegetarians. Best to go in the day maybe for a lunch and it is best for a weekday visit. This Nando's is always busy and on a Friday or saturday you could have a 20-30 minute wait to be seated. Don't forget to pick up a loyalty card to claim free chicken. The food, like all Nandos, is excellent. Service here is a little off. But maybe that's just me. Example, I asked them to replace my sodas that come with the full platter for two, with wine and I would pay the difference. No way.

If you don't like Indian food, it's hard to find an affordable sit-down restaurant in London, especially Wood Green, home of the fry up and the kebab shop, so I was happy to discover Nandos.
