I went another route and got the grilled chicken burger. It was okay, not particularly memorable. I also tried the whole chicken another time and that rendered the same result as the burger. They do have a range of sauces I've never heard of before, such as peri peri, a sauce Nando boasts about.

Think grilled chicken with a nice charred and spicy crust. A bit dry, but what do you expect when you cook chicken like this? Not bad, average price-wise, I might go back to a Nando's if I was craving their spicy fare, but I wasn't particularly impressed.more
8 years, 27 Nando's cards, and 5 different locations later (including South Africa and Malaysia), I would have to say this Nando's is by far my favourite.
Location/Atmosphere? Great spot by the river, buzzing atmosphere and cleanly laid out. Family friendly, good for groups, business lunches, no need for booking, and you can even take out! Best during summer time.

I LOVE Nando's. Great healthy alternative for a cost effective meal. It is a very casual environment where you order your food at the counter and they bring it to your table. They are most known for their grilled peri peri chicken, which is excellent. You get to choose your level of hotness on the sauce and I recommend hot!

Excited to try Nando's across the street from my hotel, I expected something flavorful and unique but was instead left disappointed.
