Overview

Local pub and restaurant The Duck is popular with diners and drinkers old and young alike, earning itself a reputation as one of the friendliest venues in the London neighbourhood of Battersea. Traditionally styled, with wood panelled walls, stripped back flooring and even the odd wingback armchair, The Duck has all the hallmarks of a good old fashioned boozer, but with the added style and sophistication of a coolly contemporary bar-restaurant. Focused around traditionally stone baked pizzas, The Duck’s menu is the perfect casual partner to a well stocked bar of internationally sourced wines and beers and both classic and contemporary cocktails. Alongside a whole host of tempting pizzas you’ll find bar specials such as burgers and salads, light bites, nibbles and sharing platters – The Duck really is a dining room for any occasion.

I wish I could give them 3.5 stars... so i'm rounding up.

I love a bargain, especially one in my 'hood.

Their lunch special is £6.95 for a 12 inch pizza and a beer. WHAT A DEAL!

Their pizza choices could be a little bit more traditional, but i give them brownie points for making a pizza with pineapple. Yes, i said it. PINEAPPLE. I like my pizza the way I like my men, sweet and cheesy....more

Great spot for sports this. Always a great atmosphere for the big rugby and football matches, and importanly, the clientele get it. Not many super-chavs come here so it's usually friendly and heavy on the harmless banter.

Their Sunday roast is excellent. If you're new to this pub then come on a Sunday first - you'll love it. Very relaxed. Very Sunday papers and recovery pints. Very throw on...more

I love The Duck, it's a great wee pub on Battersea Rise. It's utterly gorgeous from the inside out and I've had some brilliant Sunday afternoons and late Friday nights at this place.

The pub can get really busy on the weekends - day or night. There are lots of locals playing pool, eating and drinking. There are sports on the TV so usually a sporty crowd if there's a rugby match or a football...more
