The business has traded since 1996. It was initially called Chelsea Bun and changed its name in 2004 to Battersea Grill. In 2005 we were in the best ten for “Best value for money” in Evening Standard Restaurant’s guide.<br /><br />At Battersea Grill we welcome you every day. We are open 7 days a week from early morning 'til late afternoon for simple, traditional English dishes in comfortable surroundings, at very reasonable prices. We have very wide menu to suit everyone. We offer you breakfast and coffee, various sandwiches and lunch dishes (classic pastas, freshly made salads, gourmet burgers, chicken dishes, choice of omelettes and chef specials).<br /><br />We are totally committed to the quality of our food and service so all our dishes are freshly prepared by order.<br /><br />We are especially famous for breakfast and weekend brunches, there’s no better way to start a day!

Microwaved supermarket Scotch pancakes do not an American diner make. Yet that is precisely what awaits at wannabe American food joint the Battersea Grill. Whilst there I ordered a further two pancakes to supplement the four I was handed originally, and less than a minute later I had them. Disappointing. To be fair this place does serve plenty of other dishes - fried breakfasts, burgers etc -...more
Cute cafe to eat lunch at! I had the thai chickem burger (pretty good) could have done with a bit more spice though...the fries were great!
my milkshake was tasty but i don't believe a milkshake is a milkshake unless its ice cream standing up in a big glass.......so coulda been a bit thicker! but pretty cheap and nice waitresses too!more
Sure I may not look American but I do know what American food tastes like as I grew up there. The portions were comparatively small and it wasn't anything special. Don't get me wrong, the food is okay but the last time I went the mushrooms were undercooked. I've been there twice now and will probably go next door to the Draft House for breakfast next time.more
