Absolutely awful. Inedible food, undrinkable Lebanese wine (no other wine served) and sloppy, surly service. Avoid at all costs. Such a waste of a great space on a lovely square.more
First of all, this place shouldn't be listed in Charing Cross, because it's in Battersea Square.
Second, it's rubbish.
Perhaps the rubbish bit should be first though. It's that bad. But what's worse is the 2 5-star reviews that someone has clearly been coerced into giving the restaurant to skew my review, and the comment below this review. It's laughable.

Mazar is all about location - a prime spot on Battersea Square for Parisian-style patio dining. Three waitresses in black tending to tables outside and in. The thought of Lebanese lunch in the summer sun was too much for us to resist and the square's chairs drew us in like a tractor beam.
So what do you crave when you see the word LEBANESE?
