My pizza was perfectly decent but, if I'm honest, slightly underwhelming. Perhaps it's just personal taste. Certainly there can be no complaint about the very reasonable price. As to the ambience, I didn't find it that relaxing (we had to sit on a bench at a table outside, with clusters of people nearby hanging around waiting for takeaway orders, and others parading by through the market arcade).more

This review isn't for the food - because for me, Franco Manca is one of the best priced & tastiest pizza places in London. However the 2* for this place was the service and the place itself. It was grotty, the service was rude and we were sat outside on a bench when it was BLOODY FREEZING!

Franco Manca is located in Brixton Market which is one of my favourite London secrets. It has the foodie scene we all love, without all the tourists like Borough or Spitalfields. The pizza here has a great, fluffy but not too doughy crust with quality ingredients on top. Honestly, sourdough crust is the zenith of pizza crusts. People need to get on board with that.
