Yeah this one's amazingly traditional and well-preserved, given its location in the heart of grimy Stratford, just opposite that grim shopping centre. We wandered in, bout half 9, to find it jostling. Constantly being moved, so that waitresses and waiters could pass with steaming hot plates of what looked like delicious British pub grub. Good sign.

The King 'Eddie' as it's traditionally called is located in the heart of Stratford near both the shopping centre and the church. Like its name sake King Edward VII, who brought the name Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (later changed to Windsor) to the UK, the King 'Eddie' also brings something new: class and lots of it.
