Now Gaucho Manchester is a 'go to' for me but this prettily situated Richmond Riverside establishment with all its Black & Chrome, low lit, crowded and extremely noisy dining space is way too pricey and completely outclassed by their Amigo's in the North West.

Was taken here to the Richmond Gaucho for Valentines day.
Staff are lovely and friendly.
The steak melts I your mouth. Great selection of wines
Plus had a great view of the rivermore
Ordered the Sirloin that is marinated 48hrs in garlic, parsley and oil. I chose a peppercorn mushroom dipping sauce. I asked for medium rare and that was how it came, nice and pink on the inside while outside is caramelized. Probably the best meal I had since being in London.more
The other reviewers have summed up Gaucho perfectly. It is very good food, brilliant setting, good service, lovely wine etc etc but it is just a bit too pricey for what it is.
I have been 5 or 6 times - only a couple booking myself - and have always had a good time, - but always felt that for £60-70 per head for steak however good is overcharging by 10 or so pounds.
