The food was good but didn't live up to the pretentious atmosphere or prices. Shared the gaucho sampler with four friends. The filet was the best cut but none were truly impressive. A co-worker had the t-bone which was better.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the wine selection.

Desserts were good. Scallops were a little over cooked but tastey. Fish cakes also good.more

Absolutely adore this place. Gaucho Richmond is by far the best Gaucho around. Far enough out of the town you get a lovely secluded atmosphere.

If you don't want to walk the toe path along the river they can arrange for a golf buggy to pick you up from outside the slug and lettuce and drop you back after.

Food is immense every time i have been and can't wait for a hot summer evening to...more
