Deceptively large and sun filled beer garden out the back... Good choice of beverage and nice staff... It's not too much different from a lot of their types of pubs I have come across in the UK, in fact it's a bar and first and foremost it's a bar with food and a drinking establishment as an afterthought... But great location... Worthy of a stop on your crawlmore

A decent enough gastropub which we stopped by for a quick drink. Nice selection of beers and ales at ok prices. Vibe is slightly unusual for my likely. A bit simple and too clean cut. I feel like it's lost some of it's character. However, it does seem to match the general vibe of the other establishments on the same street. Food menu looked good and may be worth a try next time I'm in the area...more

Fantastic food, friendly vibe, and a great neighborhood pub to have in Walthamstow's trendy village. Although my husband's main did not impress, my delicious burger was one of the best I've ever had - the tangy, crunchy pickle and sauce made all the difference! Skinny fries were perfectly cooked. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.more

On a day of rather nice looking pubs, this one wasn't the most attractive. The Brentwood IPA was alright though and apparently the beer range has been improving of late!more

This place does a great lunch Prix Fixe menu now! £12 for 2 courses, or £15 for three! Really great choice, there was a ham hock terrine, goat cheese stuffed pepper and cream of cauliflower soup, followed by fishcake with poached egg and Hollandaise (yum!), sausage and mash and grey mullet with shallot compote, olives and tomatoes (double yum!), then sticky toffee pud, or fig and almond tart...more
