Bea's Of Bloomsbury

About

In what was once a former bank branch back in 1860, our cozy, shabby chic shop is taken up by our active open plan pastry kitchen where we churn out all the cupcakes, loaf cakes, cookies, brownies, marshmallows, meringues for all of the shops.

We want you to see our lovely space as your living room. You and your friends can enjoy mountains of scones with clotted cream and jam, lots of different flavour cupcakes, mini treats such as brownies, meringues and marshmallows and just to squeeze something savoury in there our delicious mini baguettes.

I came to Bea's of Bloomsbury for afternoon tea with a friend. Reservations are a must as it gets packed on the weekends especially. It is an adorable little bakery that is a feast for the eyes to see upon entrance, with all of the cupcakes, scones, and muffins on display.

All the pastries at Bea's are delicious, and they're served with a friendly smile. Grab your coffee and pastry here or take it to go and sit in Russell Square. Just be warned - the further you get from the shop, the longer it will be...more

So whilst beas are known for their cakes and believe me they are good, for me it's all about the coffee. The coffee is square mile and is always delicious. Usually stop by on the way to work, as there aren't many tables and usually gets really busy later in the day.

If you stop by, be sure to check out the cheesecake, the peanut butter cheesecake is like something of dreams. At almost 5...more
