The map's got it in the wrong place. Right turn and across the street from the Tube station.

Expensive-ish, bland-ish, not so bad, but not anything to get excited about. Posh curry, but not, really.

Not super greasy, though.

But you'll spend way more dosh than you expected you did.more

A decent Indian restaurant on Clapham High street. The Clapham Tandoori is chic, centrally located and reasonably priced. Does it beat Maharani? No. Does it beat Golden Curry? Probably.

Recommended dishes - Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Sag, Bombay potatoes and Lamb madras. All were great.more

This is one of those modern Indian restaurants with shiny surfaces, bright colours, and none of the clutter you associate with a more traditional take-away. As such, it lacks the charm of its ancestor but the food makes up for it.

This is a great little curry place in Clapham which is perfect for those jumping off the tube who want to grab a nice filling takeout and go home. They have a huge menu incorporating all your usual Indian meal options, but all done very well.
