I have known this restaurant for about 30 years and it has changed so often during this time. However, it always was a nice place to have drink or snak in a nice atmosphere.

Was in Hyde Park on the opening Sunday of the Olympics as they were getting the park ready for the Triathlon. The plan had been to buy sandwiches for the kids and to have a picnic, however, the heavens opened and we literally stumbled onto this place having no idea that it was there.

Fairly bog-standard trying-to-be-something-else place. You go here if you want a coffee or a slice of cake in the park. Or dinner, I suppose.
But it's really best avoided.
The coffee is OK at best. (Also, for some reason a flat white is cheaper than an Americano, despite the extra work that goes into it)

I loved this place. The boyfriend and I were wandering around in Hyde Park and hadn't eaten lunch yet. We saw this place and were happy with anything.
The location is perfect. We grabbed a sandwich and walked along the lake. The prices were fine, the food was fine. The pastry we had was delicious.
