What the food lacks, the ambiance makes up for. Californians can only go so long without a vegetable inspired meal, and my colleague Yelped Tidbits, and with the reviews we decided to try it. We came during lunch rush, and I would have only given 3 stars had we not stayed to have tea and experience the place without the crowd. The buffet food is good, but it is buffet style. The best way I can describe this place is that it's like a NY style deli with veggie food - paying by the weight. Various cuisines mixed in together due to overzealous patrons dropping some of their scoops? Unnatural colors that look more like they belong in a bucket of paint? Yeah no thanks. Even in Las Vegas, the heart of buffet food, I actively shudder at...more
