Rhodes 24
Overview
Located in Tower 42, the City of London’s tallest complete building, Rhodes 24 is the Michelin-starred brainchild of celebrity chef Gary Rhodes. Directly overlooking the Gherkin then out across the South Bank and beyond, Rhodes 24 with its floor to ceiling windows offers an unbeatable position from which to really appreciate the beautiful British capital. The smart, modern décor of the spacious, bright dining room is very much in keeping with the corporate environment of the building and its little surprise to find that the clientele is made up of a combination of city slickers loosening their ties and business diners doing deals as well as, of course, a great many foodie types attracted by the celebrity name and Michelin food. None are disappointed, with a typically Rhodes-esque menu full of comforting British favourites done with precision and elegance.

The food itself was good .... but not quite up to par for a Michelin-starred restaurant. Don't get me wrong, the food was absolutely fine; the stone-bass app and pork entree I ordered was cooked perfectly. It's the WOW factor that was amiss, you know the "oh my god, you...more
Took a client out here. Wasn't sure what to expect, but could not have been happier. The food was excellent. Small portions, but it was about quality not quantity. The person I was with even commented that the chef must have hand selected every drop of every ingredient. I had the salmon in oyster sauce. Excellent. Service was great. Atmosphere was appropriate for a business lunch, easy...more

Went to Rhodes 24 during my trip to England and really enjoyed my time there. I enjoyed both tasting menus (food and wine) as well as cocktail before-hand. Service was impeccable, wine was outstanding, food was delicious. The view was fantastic.
Definitely want to go back next time I'm there.more
