Ripping Yarns in my beloved Highgate is everything a book shop should be.
It is filled with used books, old magazines like Picturegoer, and old childrens books bound with ancient covers.
The prices are really cheap and written in pencil inside.
I spent a good 5 minutes looking at Kim Cattral's book about female organism (big surprise). It was pretty rudimentary but not expensive at 4.50....more
Crowded with overloaded book shelves. A bit disorganized...in other words, everything a bookshop should be. Love it.more
