We were a bit hesitant about the all vegetarian menu, but we went with my brother who doesn't eat meat. We were all blown away by how delicious and flavorful the food was. The chili cheese naan was a definite highlight. We left feeling full but not gross the way you sometimes do after Indian. I would definitely go back and recommend it!more
Woodlands is one of my favorite restaurants in London.
First of all, they make it easy- everything is vegetarian so that's especially great if you don't eat meat. But really, any meat eater can come here and be happy because their dishes are incredibly delicious and filling, subbing meat with different tofus, potatoes, beans, etc.

I'm torn as to whether I really love Woodlands or not.
Whilst the food was pretty darn good... I felt it was very expensive for what we got. It was around £18 a head, and that's not counting drinks and in principle I hate having to pay extra for good vegetarian food - it should be available as standard!

I come here often for lunch.
The people that own/run it are really nice, and the food is delicious and a very good value. I get a £10ish lunch special which really fills me up something fierce! The samosas are covered in this delicious tamarind sauce and chickpeas - very different and delicious.
