A wonderful surprise...ate here on a recommendation from our hotel. Atmosphere is lovely, service attentive but not over bearing, the menu varied and the wine list quite good. Our meal was delicious! I only have very positive things to say about Bibendum. While I visited for lunch, I am sure it would be as glorious in the evening. The atmosphere is refined and I found our waiters knew the correct balance of attending to us and leaving us alone. This is possibly the worst restaurant I have been to this year. It does not deserve its Michelin title at all.
Service was horrible. We got sat down at our table for 20 minutes and no body has paid any attention to us, until I gave one of the managers a look. When I asked him to recommend wine, he just said OK and walked off, did not explain the wine list to me.
