Every year, the Abbey welcomes over one million visitors who want to explore this wonderful 700-year-old building - the coronation church of England. Audio guides are available in eleven languages or there is the highly-popular verger-led tour.

Audio guides are free with individual entry tickets and the tour takes around one hour. The English-language tour is narrated by the actor Jeremy Irons and audio guides are also available in German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, Polish, Hungarian, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese.

Amazing architecture! Private tour gave our group of twenty some excellent insights! The sheer attention to detail in all aspects of construction is mind boggling! Once you think you have witnessed it all, you enter yet another sacred space that takes your breathe away! This is a not to be missed historical site in London!more

Buy your ticket online and print at your hotel. Then you can walk to the front of a long queue. I arrived at 930 and spent just over an hour. You can also download the audiotape to your iPhone and listen through your ear buds. I was literally one of the first 10

If you're visiting London, Westminster is one of those sights that you just have to see. It is architecturally gorgeous inside and out, and it has an interesting story of the past and present that is sure to delight the history buffs. If you're visiting London for the first time, by all means visit Westminster Abbey. But having seen it twice I doubt I'd visit again. Westminster Abby is absolutely stunning!! I had no idea I'd love it so much, but I did. I was in complete awe the entire time I was in the Abby!! If you buy a London Pass, this is also included. Be forewarned -- they are either closed or only open for a couple hours on Sundays, so plan your visit for another day during the week.

I'd recommend spending at least two hours here just to wonder...more
