Decided to try this restaurant after reading a Timeout article that named it as one of the top restaurants in Shoreditch. Maybe if we hadn't come into the experience with that expectation, my rating would be better.

I went there with a couple of friends on a Friday night and I should have known better, as the place was half empty. Shoreditch and Friday night should not be in the same sentence with 'empty'! It was occupied by the middle aged couples and a few other groups of people that did not strike me as of a particular age, background or anything else.
