Don't be misled by the opening hours advertised on this site: the shop is closed on Sundays. And if you send them an e-mail, don't expect a reply. By their own admission they never bother to read them. In general I find the staff feckless to the point of rudeness.more

An odd place to find a specialist classical and jazz music shop but this is a ittle gem in the heart of Soho.

They have a little board outside drawing your attention to the shop but otherwise, it's easy to walk past it without giving it a second glance. It doesn't look very inviting from outside but if you like classical music and especially if you like vinyl, this is a little treasure...more

This place is a vinyl-junkie's paradise. I was only looking for classical music on LP and was astounded at the wonderful records I found here, of course rich with collections of British pressings.

That being said, they are VERY pricey, at least as compared to what I'm used to paying in NYC for vinyl, so I ended up not buying anything. Maybe it was just the...more

Harold Moores Records is an amazing little music store on Great Marlborough Street in Soho. There is definitely a Soho kind of vibe about the place as well. Although the place sells a great range of vintage stuff, it lacks a certain grittiness that other music stores have. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, It's just the nature of Soho shops.
