I remember when Poppy Hana opened a couple of years ago, I was really happy to have some local Japanese food. But it's taken me a couple of years to finally go in and try it - mostly because the lure of the fish and chips shop a couple of doors down always wins out.

Yay for Poppy Hana!
The sushi is fresh and pretty good. My boyfriend and I like to order it to take away, then wander down to the Thames and eat it while watching the sun go down over the city. Thinking about the salmon, hottate and hamachi is making me drool.

Lovely fresh juices (I had the apple) I had the chicken katsu curry which was ok, the vegetables were really tasty and well cooked in it. The miso soup was also yummy, my brothers supreme sushi dish thing looked good too!more
