Quirky design, I felt like Alice in Wonderland going between the different compartments of the pub and into the restaurant. The food was excellent, I had soup of the day and their skinny fries. Friendly staff, extensive menu - highly recommend!more
Very unusual Victorian Young's pub located in Maida Vale, north west London close to Warwick Avenue tube station and Little Venice.

Went to the Prince Alfred for dinner in the Formosa dining room.
The decor of the bar is very nice, and the staff serving us were very polite.
The food was good - a little expensive but good none-the-less. This is why I'm giving the place 3 vs 4 stars.
I had the lentil soup to start and the steak and ale pie for the main.
I would consider coming back here again if I was ever in the area.more
What a pretty, pretty pub!! I finally understand what Ashley meant about tiny little doors! I like them (even though I was worried that I'd hit my head!!)
We have a friend who lives around the corner from here, so we wandered in for a drink after spending all day outside in the sun (as soon as the sun went in, we became cold, and in need of drinkies!!)
