First time visit and if I lived in the area - would come more often. Went for a comedy night which was really good and had a great laugh even though I had never heard of any of the comedians before but the MC Mickey Hutton was really good and so were the acts; Carey Marx, Sean Percival and Topping & Butch. My friend had been here before and apparently the food was suppose to be good so we also...more
One of the better traditional pubs in Chiswick. Good selection of ale and lagers, and the food is pretty good too. This is one of the few bars in Chiswick that show football, so if that's not your thing it may not be the place to go if there's a big match on. I ordered a burger and was quite average, if I'm generous. 9.25£ is bloody expensive for the quality. The chips were good though.
Drinks are expensive too. 1 beer and one cider 8.75£. Ambient is not great, with plenty of retired men. One good thing is that you can bring your dog all the way inside!!more
The better Fuller's pub on the high street in Chiswick. Serves all the usual Fuller's favourites (I like Discovery).
It does get a bit busy on a Saturday night but the atmosphere is convivial. You do need to be 21 to get in and I guess they are quite strict about it as (flatteringly) I was asked. Of note were a couple of very striking redhead barmaids.more
