Breakfast/Brunch: 3.5 stars
Balans is a solid choice for breakfast/brunch with lots of options of the menu. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but it's probably the best choice in the area. I had the breakfast burrito which was good, not great (but I live in the US, so perhaps for the UK, it is great).

This Balans is conveniently located on the corner of Earl's Court Road and Old Brompton. Like the other Balans, the staff are cheerful and ready to help. The food is of a decent quality, I usually tend to eat breakfast here. The omelettes are well done and chefs can accomodate most requests. Bottom line, Balans is a solid, decent restaurant, a good neighborhood breakfast stop.more
We went here for dinner. I think it's a solid place, and definitely enjoyed my fish. There are many Balans around -- it seems that Londoners decide to duplicate the restaurants they like.
I'll probably be back, and will see how they do a second time around. I heard their burger was also quite tasty, though I did not eat it myself.

I'm definitely a fan of this place.
Great location (even though everything seems hard to find in Soho), awesome people watching. Martinis are delish, although they need bigger olives. And the tuna was AWESOME. Seriously. Awesome.more
