I'm a huge fan of Indian cuisine and more adventurous and fusion type Indian and was hopeful when I discovered this place.

We started with their signature cocktails and we were excited for the food since the cocktails were good.

We ordered their tasting menu along with the wine pairing. What a huge mistake!

Not only is it not worth the money but the wine pairing was absolutely embarrassing....more

The St James restaurant is a reinvented version of he erstwhile Fulham shop. And how! Chutney Mary comes pretty damn close to what I would call the perfect cooking without stylising. I suppose you will say that that is somewhat debatable, after you've tried the boneless chicken wings starter.

Starters: duck salad, boneless chicken wings, and crab cakes. All excellent.

A friend of mine went here and absolutely loved it. She was raving about how great the service was, tasty the food, fabulous the drinks, yada yada yada.

I can only think I went on an off day.

Ambiance: This restaurant is beautiful and more importantly very clean.
