The Cock & Bottle is a traditional, friendly small pub with a fireplace, that sells real ale, beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. They also serve home-made traditional meals and provide a vegetarian menu. A takeaway menu is also provided. The pub also has a TV showing Sky Sports. The terrace will seat up to 80 people. On Saturday and Sunday only sandwiches are served.

I can't believe I've never been to thi pub before, and it's staggering distance from where I live.

I wasn't the only one holding her breath for the last few months; a sign had gone up that the Cock & Bottle was under new management and undergoing refurbishment. Shock, horror, the last "real" pub in Notting Hill was threatened by gentrification!

By far my favorite pub in London- one of the only independent pubs left. It's very cozy inside- old wingback chairs and wood tables- great paintings on the walls and victorian wallpaper- the bartenders were very friendly and happy to help- tip them well!more

I had always found it hard to find an "authentic" pub in London. This one is slightly off the beaten path of Westbourne Grove, with cheap drinks, old timeys decor and lots of people with cockney accents. if there was a British version of the show Cheers, I'm pretty sure this pub was it.more

More than just a non-gastro pub (though that is a blessing) this is a class operation run by Ulsterman Richard and his family.
