Rock and Sole Plaice was featured on an episode of "Guy and Hunter's European Adventure" on Food Network, so I decided to make it a mission to grab some fish and chips while I was in London. It did not disappoint, the fish and chips were fantastic, the portions were they have local beer, which is enough to sell me on a restaurant.more

This is the first Fish and Chips I've tried in London and I must say, it didn't disappoint. It might be a little too hefty for fish and chips, but as a tourist, I don't really mind paying a little extra.

A friend of mine brought me here, they have good outdoor dining and some decent seats downstairs. I arrived here at 11am and by 12 noon it was packed! I suggest arriving a little early.

We waited a few minutes for a table with the line out the door but certainly understandable as this place is popular lunch spot. Service was quick and waiter recommend starting with the calamari and prawns which were...more

I very much enjoyed the fish and chips here. It's not cheap but the service was quick and friendly and the food was good. We shared one plate of fish and chips because the portions are huge. Their fish is apparently locally sourced and sustainable, so you can feel a little better about eating here.

It's worth nothing that if you choose to eat in the restaurant versus takeaway, you'll pay...more
