Being one of the first on the scene the Salusbury has seen its guises change over the years but is more comfortable now than ever. An excellent chef, Andrew Filar and passionate manager, Romina Puddu ensure the pub is delivering the best in food, drink and service. Andrew brings his wealth and depth in understanding of seasonal British cuisine from his time as Head Chef at the Medcalf, Exmouth Market where he worked for more than 7 years, and Romina always ensures the customers experience at the Salusbury is an enjoyable one. With her impeccably kept cellar she keeps our selection of fine ales, stouts and porters in prime condition as well as selecting great value wines with sense of place, by the glass and bottle.

Had a great dinner here two nights ago. There's a nice, small dining area set away from the pub setting. I got the pearl barley & butternut squash, porcini mushrooms

We've always had top notch meals and service. Love the smoked haddock w/ creamed leeks. If you just fancy a burger it's guaranteed to be lovely and cooked to perfection.more
No idea that this place had been over run by antipodeans seeking the London experience.
The house wines are of fair to good quality but the atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out.
A mixture of 40s something media, artist and yogic types mixed with lots of 20s something Kiwis and Aussies this is a melting pot of anglo saxony gluttony and antipodean lust.

It used to be a fave about 2 or 3 years ago but ever since the "chicken coups" where placed outside it was never the same. Even worse now the bar is at the back - not that the bar positioning is to blame, but perhaps the over gentrification. Always fond memories of meeting great randoms outside though.more
It's a beautiful place. Someone deserves a high-five or whatever for the design.
And the employees are very nice. It kind of reminds me of places in New York - half bar/half Italian eatery.
