We ended up here on St. Patrick's Day (had visitors in town, had to do something) and while the bands had played way early in the day (they were well and done by the time we arrived at 9 pm) we ended up having a very good night here.
Yes, it's crazy busy, and for most of the night, the line to the bar was four people deep everywhere. The staff probably could've been a bit quicker, but they...more
Went here for a Folk & Dagger night, which at £2 is a really good way to get introduced to a variety of lesser known folksy groups in the area. It's fascinating to watch their mating ritual. Don't go to a show, come here and watch the strange people who will resort to online dating when the eventually realise that the only thing they'll catch out here is...more
A fine establishment, with some super funky decor (giant wooden totem pole anyone?). I've only been upstairs in the bar/restaurant area and both times it was very acceptable. Neither mind-blowing, nor disappointing. Big fan of the cosy leather sofas though...more
