Went to see a friend playing in a gig. Great small venue for local bands and a lovely place to meet up with a group. It's in a perfect location in Hoxton Square, not too far from the Northern Line.

This is a really fun venue that I just visited for the first time to check out my friend's band. The location alone sells the bar alone- in Hoxton Square, it's easy to get there from the overground and Northern Line and is central, which is ideal for meeting friends from all over. And unlike quite a few places in the area, it feels very genuine rather than what often comes across as over-done, artificial hipster quirkiness. Definitely A+ for effort on the decor and vibe!
Great concept which uses the...more
