Overview

The Light Bar and Restaurant occupies a former power station commission by the Great Eastern Railway company in the late 1800s to provide electrical lighting to Liverpool Street Station. The building retains many of its original features including exposed brickwork, timber and some of the original lifting mechanism.

<br>It opened in its present form in 2000 to great acclaim. Our main bar has a capacity of 300 serving from an extensive bar menu. Adjoining this bar is our 60 cover restaurant offering a full International a la carte menu as well as daily 2 course special menus from only £10.00.<br>

The upper mezzanine Lounge bar is available for private hire (Sun – Thurs) with a capacity of up to 200 people. As well as fully stocked bar, canapé menu and a DJ booth it also has its own private roof terrace. On Fridays and Saturdays we open this room as an informal members bar.<br>We also have a large courtyard for drinking or al fresco dining beneath a canopy adjoining the restaurant.
