Nice theatre. There is a main theatre upstairs and another smaller theatre downstairs. Good spaces. Always good plays put on here. Well worth visiting this theatre.

We went to see "Raving" last night. Really good fun. Excellent writing and superb acting. Brilliant! An evening at the theatre doesn't get much better than this.more

This is a fantastic local theatre with a larger main auditorium for the bigger productions, and a smaller downstairs studio area for fresher material which is hosted in a space so intimate, that the audience are practically on stage themselves.

Not that the main theatre is of epic proportions, it's a great size and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Ok, I admit there was that one...more

You can't get a bad seat at the Hampstead Theatre. Now, how many places in London can you say this?

The Hampstead is a great local theatre that has some interesting programming. There's a really nice vibe to the building as a whole, and I absolutely love the feel of the main auditorium - small, intimate, but the stage still has the proportions to accomodate larger productions.

They're not quite so lucky with their bar/restaurant/foyer areas as somewhere like the National or the Young Vic,...more

This is a review of the cafe/bar at the Hampstead theatre because, I'll be honest, I haven't seen a show there..YET. But, it's a great place to study, gather for a group meeting, have coffee, have a drink after classes.
