Several good memories of seeing productions here between 2004 and 2007. I had hoped to enjoy a return visit here when I was back in London last month (and I went right by the building on the bus), but unfortunately my schedule did not allow the opportunity.

A really beautiful and peaceful location. Two theatres inside. I've seen productions in both but prefer the Hampstead downstairs as its exciting new writing pieces! This place has a cool vibe and our can get good ticket prices if you are a student!more
The Hampstead is a great local theatre that has some interesting programming. There's a really nice vibe to the building as a whole, and I absolutely love the feel of the main auditorium - small, intimate, but the stage still has the proportions to accomodate larger productions.
They're not quite so lucky with their bar/restaurant/foyer areas as somewhere like the National or the Young Vic,...more
