Located next to the Millennium Bridge on the north side of the river with outstanding views Northbank is a stylish restaurant and bar created by owner Christian Butler (ex-Adam Street and Baltic). Northbank's terrace has spectacular views of the Millennium Bridge, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and Tate Modern and is just a short walk from St Paul's Cathedral. Head Chef Jason Marchant (ex-Claridges) is passionate about sourcing fresh ingredients for his excellent Modern British menu with a Cornish influence. Owner Christian hails from the West Country and together with Jason, they have created a menu celebrating his Cornish heritage. Typical dishes include Pot Roasted Chicken with Cornish Mead, Rump of Cornish Lamb with Sauteed Kidneys and Camel Valley Sparkling Jelly and Ice Cream to finish. In addition to a discerning wine selection, taste the excellent Cornish Mead, a honey based alcoholic beverage enjoying a revival since it was first brewed in monasteries during the time of King Henry VIII. West Country ciders, real ale, eclectic cocktails, champagne and bottled beers from small producers all make an appearance on the menu. Northbank caters for groups of up to 150 seated / 250 standing and can be hired exclusively for parties, wedding receptions, corporate events and more. We look forward to welcoming you down by the river soon!

The seating arrangement seems tightly packed as if in an effort to fit more guests in...more
Excellent all round.
Great location under the Wobbly Bridge and in the shadow of St Paul's this restaurant is literally next to the river and has great views. The terrace has even better ones. Brilliant food, drinks, service and location. Suitable for everyone including romantic twosomes.
Fresh, quality produce makes all the difference. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.more

Met my friend at the bar for a table booking I was now half hour late for. Allowed me to take my time to relax over my drink. Did not rush us in any way.
Once ready, was shown to our table which as a lovely little booth...more

We tried a few dishes and everything was good but nothing amazing. What was amazing though was the views of St. Paul's cathedral at night after...more
