I rely on reviews from this site so often that I've decided to finally provide my own review.

Given all of the high reviews for this restaurant, I thought it would be like a morimoto restaurant or even a Nobu but it doesn't compare to those spots (even though the prices are comparable!). This was definitely a scene or hotspot like Nobu but I didn't think the food was as good.

I visited roka on the bank holiday Sunday this may for the bottomless brunch with my partner and another couple.

We were seated near the bar next to the window which I actually much preferred as it felt more casual then in the main part of the restaurant. There are three different set menus you can pick from for the lunch at different price points.

Trendy Japanese restaurant in Canary Wharf, where all the beautiful people flock to on a Saturday night. 

The quality of food is extremely high, although personally I would give the tempura dishes a miss. Thankfully there are plenty of other dishes to choose from, sushi, ribs, sea bream, the list is long.

This is the place to go for a unique experience of the best of what Japan has to offer in terms of food.

From great sushi and sashimi, to delicious scallops, and lamb cops and Kobe beef to die for.

Tips: go for one of the set menus to try a range of great food.
