OK. The Roxy, thought I loved it at first - until I went a second time.
This was one of the worst experience I have had in my entire life. I was verbally accosted by the security who proceeded to be inappropriate to my friends and I. Then, when walking from the ladies washroom I slipped and fell near the dance floor. A security guard/bouncer was standing there watching, did not care, it...more
The Roxy is a good environment with good music and the dance floor can be fun. However the staff is not very friendly and their ID verification process is completely absurd. It's slightly hidden, down some stairs which is quite useful as many walk past without realising its even there. Music is slightly loud but always reasonably good and the bar staff are friendly but fast...more
