Two of my favourite things: books and charity shops! I'm always happy in an Oxfam bookshop but this one has a large(ish) music section too. Not just books on music but CD's, cassette tapes and a rather large - for a charity shop - vinyl section. Except actual instruments there are all aural music things and they're cheap!

There are a lot of books in here most at the fraction of their retail value. BARGAIN! I love that word. Yes there isn't the range of a Waterstones, but this is a second hand store. Yes Oxfam is a chain, but it retains an independent image, plus they are a charity, so you don't get buyers remorse shopping here.

Books, Oxfam & Marylebone High St - it's like a match made in charitable & literary heaven! This branch is in a fantastic location and I can't stress just how well stocked it is with such a wide range of books at wonderful prices.more

What once was a charity shop packed to the brim with all sorts of goodies is now a shadow of itself.

This Oxfam has seemed to have a bit of a modern facelift making it extremely easy to find what you are looking for, assuming you are happy with a very limited selection.more

The books are reasonably well sorted and there's a great selection - I could happily browse for hours - and the staff are helpful and humorous. But seriously - what is with the smell?more
