It is a good place to have an expensive drink with friends. Although, I will admit that the interior is nice, I felt like it was "soul-less". Going on a Saturday late afternoon prevented me to fight with the crowd I usually see when I walk by. The staff was really nice.

Personally, it is not my favorite, but I can see how some people might like Rupert's buzz.more

Probably the worst refurbishment in recent gay history. Rupert lost its charm. Staff is still very friendly. Just hop in for a drink in the crowd and continue to the next bar.more

I've been a few times and it's busy. Sundays are pretty relaxing however I think there are better bars to enjoy. I found the cheeky banter from the bartender in poor taste. As a gentleman I'll give this advice: have fun with your clientele but don't overstep your bounds. It's always best to assume that 'foreigners' are local and not just visiting.
