We had 2 cocktails in here on a Friday night .

The best Mojito Ive had anywhere ever !

2 4 1 cocktails until 8pm

We were in reserved seating ( not for us though ) and when the people showed up for their table we were more than happy to get up. The manager was getting the waiter to sort some seating out for us with a small table.... How good is that ?

The Peacock is a funny breed of bar that thrives in the outer areas of London where twenty-somethings frolic and play on a Friday and Saturday night. It claims to be a cabaret bar, but believe me, it's nothing more than a typical Clapham late-night boozer with couple of performances.

The drinks are strong, v.good, but the place is full to the rafters by 9pm. Saying that, the bar staff cope...more

I have always been apprehensive about the parts of London that are not serviced by the tube. I have this intangible prejudiced opinion about those places ... and hence i have seldom visited those areas. However recent visits to Shoreditch and Clapham junction have helped to change my opinion.

I may have a been a little quiet recently, but it doesn't mean to say I was thinking about you all and just to show you how much I care, let me tell you about The Peacock.

It flew onto my radar because one of my girlfriends booked it as the venue for her birthday party.
