I almost hesitate to write a review on this place as I don't want all of London turning up. The space, food, and service here are all excellent. They seem to change chefs frequently but each time I've been the food has been fantastic. Been here a couple of times now, most recently last night. Each time it's been fairly empty, but the bartenders are friendly. I haven't tried the food, but it looks good.

Lovely service, good décor and good music.more

Fresh crusty bread, was followed by rabbit terrine and potted crab. Then courgette and cheese tart with mint sauce followed, accompanied...more

This is quite a nice pub. Had a decent selection of ales when I visited, including a couple from the Brodie's east London brewery, including their strong tasting Jamaican stout (not for everyone!).

I liked the dimly lit interior, although I could have done without the volume of the evening's jazzalthough it was quite amusing trying to work my conversation around a particularly long drum...more
