We went on Mothers day and discovered it was a very child friendly pub. BBQ out the back and well... lots of kids having lunch with their parents. Great to know if you have kids I guess but we ended up taking our drinks outside and having them by the Green in the sun which was more than OK. Nice pub. It's local to me (I live in Kew) so will be back.more
When I first moved into Chiswick some 12 years ago, this was one of the first pubs I found and it became my first local. we wandered into this place after spending some time with our friends brood of kids in the park behind the pub. greyhound is such a find, very unassuming in the front. the patio is well laid out with regular picnic tables and these "huts" that seat 6-10 people. the pub is very family and dog friendly.
the menu was closer to that of a gastropub with even several selections for sharing...more
