Stopped in here with a colleague to have a pint and a bit of pub food. It's a friendly atmosphere with good service. I had the Mince Meat Pie and it was pretty tasty. It's not something I would want to eat too often. Very rich and salty. It is definitely decent hearty pub fare.more

Part of the same chain as the pub down the street called The Kings Arms. Both have the exact same menu, but this location has more charm, better service, and the food is better prepared. I would definitely go back for both beers and food. I must say that I liked it better before I knew it was a chain (found out when i tried The Kings Arms down the street).more
