The Ship

3 out of 5 Based on 3 reviews

Built in 1781, the Ship is without doubt most famous for its location on the finishing line of the Oxford/Cambridge Boat Race. With all the hallmarks of a traditional English pub- an open fire, timber floor and beer garden – we are one of the most picturesque and inviting pubs along the river.

very disappointed with this place. hoped for a great Sunday Roast as looks good and location is great but the service was very slow, the glasses dirty and the food mediocre. I guess it wasn't a one off as it was very empty. a missed opportunitymore

Nice pub, right by the Thames. Real ale on sale. Car parking available but high tides may swamp your car. Raised area by the windows give a good view of the river. Friendly staff.more
