In a time where there seem to be almost more vintage stores in London than Curry Houses (and that's saying something), there really does need to be something special about the store for it to stand out.
And sadly, nothing really does with Shock & Soul. Sure, the range is OK - nothing groundbreaking, but decent - the decor is fine, but there's not much else going for it.

The Shock and Soul promotions are not to be missed. For vintage sequins and sparkle this shop is the place to go to. Some of the other products however, are rather overpriced. Why charge over £100 for a jumper and only £10 for a fully beaded silk dress?
It is worth a look anyway.more
Welcome to the most obnoxious shop in London. I walked into Shock and Soul looking for a winter coat and instantly heard the loudest and most offensive American accent. One of the sales girls was 'entertaining' the other sales girls by loudly mocking the cover letter of a person who had come in looking to apply for a job.

Shock & Soul is a handsome vintage shop in Islington. It is a decent sized shop divided in two between men's and women's.

I've seen better, and have been acknowledged ten times better. I walked into the shop to have a nosey around, I was the only customer and the sales woman was on the phone.
