This place is amazing! The ambiance feels so welcoming and authentic, I loved it. The food was delicious. I tried both dishes and both had loads of flavor. The appetizers were well presented and exceeded my expectations. I wish I could visit every weekend, unfortunately I live in the states but this place was a hit in my book!more
Tasty food, good service, nice part of town. Nice decor. I got the bourek, which was excellent. I wish I would have gotten another order. For my main course I got the iskender, which is a mixed kabob type dish (Chicken, Lamb, and Minced Lamb) with a yogurt sauce. The meat was very good except I found a hair in my minced lamb kabob. Very unfortunate as I was planning on giving this place 4 to 5...more
The staff are friendly and the menu is mainly Turkish ,the restaurant is decorated to make you feel that you are sitting somewhere in Turkey but does lack atmosphere .
We tried the lamb moussaka and the spicy beef stew which arrived very quickly both were tasty but nothing special . Overall it was pleasant experience but it did not leave me thinking that I wanted to go back again!more
This place has potential, it's in a great location and the decor has a lovely, Arabian feel to it, but the place is a bit lacklustre mainly because of the service. When I called to make a reservation, they didn't really seem to register what I was saying and even though they had confirmed the reservation, they didn't seem to know I had made a reservation when I got to the place.
What a great place to stop and have lunch after visiting the London eye. We're trying to avoid the rain so we stopped in and had some hummus and pasta and wine. I know those don't sound like they go together but it was actually quite scrumptious. The location is fantastic, right down by the river.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a quick pitstop in between tourist attractions.more
