Situated between High Holborn and Red Lion Square, The Bountiful Cow is a public house dedicated to serving the finest steaks and burgers at affordable prices.<br/><br/>Converted from a 1960s pub by Head Cook Roxy Beaujolais, cookbook author and BBC television presenter, this warm and stylish gastro pub retains a traditional feel throughout, making The Bountiful Cow an enticing destination for any carnivore.

Alongside the exceptionally large Bountyburgers, steaks are the focus of The Bountiful Cow's menu. Aged in-house for many weeks to ensure tenderness and flavour, steak sandwiches, sirloin, rib-eye, fillet and T-bone cuts of beef are cooked to order by the grill chefs, and can be served with a choice of sauces or a la Capricorn (with melted goat's cheese).

The Bountiful Cow also stocks a selection of cask-conditioned ales and excellent wines to accompany your hearty meal.

A cute little restaurant that looks more like a pub than a dining room, I was pleasantly impressed with all the food here.

I got the Baby Bounty burger, which was still a standard-sized burger. My companion got the lamb steak with sauteed potatoes. All were delicious.

The beginning of my odyssey to find a good steak in London started at the Bountiful Cow. Given the name and the menu you would think that this would be a great place to get a great steak. Alas there is more than a name that makes a good steak house, you actually have to serve good steaks.

A very cozy restaurant (downstairs), with an amazing choice of starters, main courses and desserts. The ordered food (Steak Tartar and a lamb steak) was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed every bit.

Went here for steaks after work with my husband, and it was great. Steak was cooked exactly how I asked (rare), the chips were lovely, and the wine was really good to boot. The house merlot was the perfect partner for our food. I had my steak with goat cheese, and it was beautiful.
