I'm surprised Silver Cross doesn't have better reviews, but I enjoyed my experience here! After visiting Buckingham Palace, I came in with a group of 12 looking for fish & chips and WiFi (since this is a must when visiting London). Silver Cross was yet another example of my travel buddy and I declaring, "hey we're hungry, let's stumble into a random place" while we wandered around London. Once again, we got lucky with our stumbling. Silver Cross was almost completely empty when we arrived, meaning that we got to enjoy a quiet meal in a pub for the first time on our entire London trip.

Infested with rodents. When I went there 24th July 2015 we saw two mice quite happily and calmly running around people's feet as they ate. If we are seeing mice boldly in the pub just imagine how many there must be.
If you really want to know about the rest of the pub... they pour the Guinness badly.
It is shabby and unclean in the toilets and shabby and worn down in the finishings...more
