Good pub close to the station but without that station feeling. Excellent beer garden in the summermore

Been here a number of times and experience has varied depending on purpose of visit. Overall it's a little meh. More than once I've popped in only to realise I've been in this place before.

Oh pubs, how I missed thee. Especially ones just like this - cosy, decent draught selection, lots of shelves on which to place your pint (much overlooked but necessary bar furntiure, especially when there are never enough seats), friendly staff. I'm glad the All Bar One (i know, boo hiss) was too packed to consider and we came here instead.

I couldn't be happier sitting in the homely upstairs room at my new favourite pub, listening to Snow Patrol, using free wi-fi, sipping on a diet coke, and slipping into a rabbit hole of early 90s references through their avid use of Trolls and My Little Pony table numbers. Radical.

What a great little find this traditional English pub is. On a rainy day in south London I was desperate for cover and The Bunch of Grapes was more than accommodating. The bar area is designed in lovely dark wood and the spacious floor leads out into a paved beer garden.

Upstairs is the real jewel as it is so homely with a big TV, and the kind of place you can chill for hours. With free wifi...more
