This is where I head off to when I fancy a decent pint of ale. It's a Youngs pub with usually 1 or 2 guest beers. The people who run it won't win any personality competitions but it is a well run place with proper pub grub and decent beer. Nice!!more
This is a very nice pub, situated on church ground (St Mary's), right beside the Church Farm Museum, and it's a pretty building, beautifully kept. It's a quiet little place - nothing particularly cool about it - but it has a good fire in the winter, lots of comfortable places to sit, the mostfabulous hanging baskets, and a real community of locals, very few of whom bite.
A quiet pub in the suburbs, good food well kept beer, a growing choice of unusual spirits and its dog friendly. Spotlessly clean and without doubt the best pub in the area. Also serves excellent pizzas up to 9pmmore
