Popped in for a Sunday night dinner. I'd been told by a friend they served him one of his top three steaks of all time, so I had to go. Enter Murphy and his law, they were out of ribeye.

Had a three course lunch. Potted shrimps made me feel a bit sick and tasted way too fishy for my liking. However the muscles were cooked to perfection. For mains I had the wild mushroom risotto which was delicious. I couldn't finish it all. Had two cheeky deserts: Apple and blackberry crumble and blueberry crème brûlée.. But crumble defo wins.

I came here for lunch. My friend and I both had the chicken/ham/"leak" pie, which was glorious. The ambience was nice and the staff were wonderful.more
Confession: I was a bit broke when I came here and so ended up having the burger and I sort of regret it. Don't get me wrong - it was a good burger, but compared to the steak every other person on the table had (bar one veggie)? I'm not sure it can stack up.
